, run by his grandchildren David and Susanna Wöss, employs 70 staff and mainly produces headwear and knitted goods which are then delivered to leading sports stores across the globe. Turnover amounts to around EUR 15 million, with exports accounting for around 75%.
Eisbär has an exclusive contract to kit out the Austrian Olympic team at the upcoming games in Vancouver. What is more, Eisbär has been the official headwear supplier to the Austrian National Ski team in the fields of Alpine, Nordic and ski-jumping for over 30 years. In effect, all Austrian Olympic champions have worn and won with Eisbär.
