It is no surprise that some of the brightest minds have lived and worked here – as they continue to do so today. In second place in the study by the international consulting firm Mercer, which compares the quality of life in 241 cities, is Zurich. Next on the list and ranking 3-5 are Auckland, Copenhagen and Geneva.
Mercer compares various criteria in detail for its city comparison, including political, social, economic and ecological aspects such as security, health, education and transportation services.
