This is the ninth occasion on which ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA has invited researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to Vienna, once again welcoming delegates to one of Europe’s foremost technology conferences as guests in Austria.
The conference will focus on innovative technologies and solutions that address topics related to sustainability, energy, climate and nutrition. International researchers, entrepreneurs and technological experts can look forward to a rare opportunity to swap notes with MIT’s top research teams and gain an insight into their current endeavours.
A hosted live stream will also be available.
The first day of the conference will feature presentations, panel discussions and an opportunity to network, while the second day promises workshops to be held, in which concrete topics and solutions can be discussed in greater detail in direct exchanges with the MIT researchers.
The following are just some of the researchers coming to Austria:
- Phil Budden (MIT Sloan School of Management)
- Mircea Dinca (MIT Department of Chemistry)
- John Fernandez (MIT Department of Architecture)
- David Hardt (Department Mechanical Engineering)
- AJ Perez (MIT Morningside Academy for Design)
Detailed information about the event, including registration and the programme, is available from the conference website.
