Matthias Reckendorfer specialises in Weißburgunder and Riesling. Grape varieties that have always flourished where he lives, in the village of Ollersdorf an der March with its limestone-rich clay and loess soils. Located at the beginning of the Weinviertel winegrowing region, the village is well protected against cold north winds by an oak forest to the north. The 25-year-old, who is passionate about music, took over his parents' winery in 2019 and with the 2024 vintage has launched his first certified organic wine on the market. The wines are more fully described in musical terms. For it is Matthias Reckendorfer's aspiration to make "wines with musicality" and become one of the Weinviertel's elite winegrowers.

The Reckendorfer winery is looking for retailers and wine stores to sell its wines and also to represent the winery in the hospitality industry. The winery stands for Grüner Veltliner, Weißburgunder and Riesling through to sparkling wine. Certified "Sustainable Austria" since 2021 and with the 2024 vintage, has seen the launch of the first organically certified vintage on the market. Nature sets the tone.
