The winery Unger is located in Halbturn, a small town in Burgenland, where the Parndorfer Platte merges into Seewinkel.
The Unger wine estate is comprised of vineyards around Lake Neusiedlersee. The vineyards extend from the warm gravelly soils in Seewinkel to the rich south-eastern slopes on the declines of the Wagram to higher, cooler locations on the Parndorfer Plateau.
The vineyards are owned by families rooted in the soil, the climate and the region, some for as long as 50 years or more,. This is the origin of the location-specific wines that perfectly reflect this terroir for decades-long.

Burgenland wines from the Unger winery
The young dynamic Unger winery is not yet represented on the Slovakian market and the family is therefore seeking partners to distribute their wines to the Slovakian market.
The range comprises the red wines Zweigelt (50%), Blaufränkisch (15%) and Merlot (5%) and the white wines Welschriesling (10%), Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Blanc
